I have worked in veterinary since 2015 and have a keen interest in emergency and critical care work and hope to do my certification soon. It has been something I have wanted to explore ever since I started my nursing career.
I have three cats - Cat face (yes that’s his name and I named him before I had my son so I can’t blame my son for his name. That was all my doing!), Pepper and Dobby. All of which I have acquired through work over the years and they all get me in trouble by spending their days at Tesco Eastbourne! Dobby has been caught stealing packs of dreamies!
I also have a German Shorthaired pointer Puppy called Norman who takes up all my time with woodland walks, agility, hydrotherapy and obedience classes. This is all I do in my free time. He has a better schedule than I do.
I have started a canine behaviour course this year and canine behaviour is a huge passion of mine alongside nursing and once the course is finished (I have another 18 months left) I will be a qualified as a registered canine behaviourist and hope to do this alongside my nursing.
Alongside all of the animals I also have a 4 year old called Henry, a step daughter called Isla and a fisherman partner and when I can, I enjoy spending time out at sea.
